This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to conduct atmospheric monitoring in the resources and infrastructure industries.
About the course
It applies to those working in supervisory and technical specialist roles. They generally work under minimal supervision to undertake a broad range of skilled applications in varied work contexts, using some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures.
Our one-day course covers surface mining atmospheres, not intended for underground miners which is a two-day course.
Our course complies with BMA Coal Requirements as well as Coal Mining Safety and Health Advisory Committee recognised competency for Open Cut Examiner (OCE)

Course Inclusions
- Training will be conducted by one of our experienced trainer / assessors who have resource industry currency and supported by a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
- Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant.
- 1 day of training. Up to 12 trainees per course. A typical course runs from 07:30-15:30
