Non slew crane
A non-slewing mobile crane is a powered mobile crane that incorporates a boom or jib which does not slew and includes an articulated mobile crane or a locomotive crane but does not include vehicle tow trucks.

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a non-slewing mobile crane safely.
Non-slewing mobile crane means a mobile crane incorporating a boom or jib that cannot be slewed, and includes:
- an articulated mobile crane
- a locomotive crane
but does not include vehicle tow trucks.
This unit applies to the activities of a person operating a non-slewing crane with a capacity exceeding 3 tonnes.

Course Inclusions
- Training will be conducted by one of our experienced trainer / assessors who have resource industry currency and supported by a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
- Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant.
- 2 days of training. Up to 6 trainees per course. A typical course runs from 07:30-15:30
